I like the two brit seating with lady drinking sprite and orange juice!!.
I been to few reenactment before and recently at northern Saratoga field. I most say few hundred with just 4 small cannon make an impressive scene. Even most are mid to retired age men. Under any weather they still fight well and don’t feint. The loud of just few hounded musket and cannon using half of powder that was used in reality per shot made it extremely loud. Imagine thousand and the real battles. Because of the from discharge of all gas in old fire weapon the noise was incredible lauder than most modern weapons per com/proportion rate at field.
Once again even most of the reenactment are well promoted, I notice the lack of young because the (” forced”) not interest by school and even college to do field trip is incredible strong. I took my daughter 2 years ago and she loved, I counted only 11 children and no more than 2 dozen teens!? with their parents. The were over 8000 watchers according to news and even a local news complain in lack of kids at field a sunny nice day .
Another hobby been disregards and avoid by young generation because the media and else bombarded with pro peace messages ,school claiming is violence when it is pure history and fun.
