Toy soldiers at a Canadian Tire Store

b1a

Our very good friend Brian Johnson sent us a report on toy soldiers he found in a Canadian Tire Store.

These are the Tube 8th Army figures( 16 figs to a tube) that I first thought were the French till I picked up a tube.Found in the “Canadian Tire” store which is a Canada wide chain store.Priced a $5CDN per tube.”Made in China” on the base with no other markings.Identified on label as “Distributed by Ricochet” and www.groupericochet.com. Unfortunatly there were no French,Italians,Russians,Chinese or Japanese tubes as per the “Hing Fats”,There were these 8th Army,Germans and Dark Green US and a Lime Green US in two display boxes with a dozen tubes each so I guess these are all the different sets they have, maybe if they sell well the other figures might show up.

They look like fairly nice figures especially at that price.
