  1. I had to carefully read that post very twice and it still doesn’t make any sense?
Does the set include an artillery piece?

What type of adhesive works with OWN figures? I have several sets and need to assemble them. Thank you for any advice.

      Welcome Jack
I do not know what type of glue, Erwin who sells the OWN figures makes comments on our site and would be best to tell you which glue to use. Also some of our readers may have different suggestions.

Cut clean any excess plastic and do the hot/cold water process before to straight all arms/weapons/it work quick by dropping several figures in low boiling water pot for two minutes max, them right away out using a tool under cold running water or drop all in a pot with cold water!About glue.tip: You may use crazy glue gel. No liquid. If want to change some poses arms just cut/reduce a bit some plugs in order to insert in other figures body before glue then.OR: Be creative by just cut in a bit = no complete the plug in part; you may be able to adapt opposite arms in to opposite figures creating all new poses. Do this before glue, test and them if like give a final touch with a tiny drop of glue so they never come apart again..Please notice that set number 4 with 4 poses have separated heads, each head is a “single one with particular plug per body”; if want to change it ,you need to adapt/cut or reduce a bit the plastic neck plug part.

I’ve discovered a mixture of Crazy Glue gel and liquid has held pretty well. I put the gel on one piece, liquid on the other and hold for about thirty seconds, then let them set for about 24 hours, so far it seems to have held. I haven’t stored my guys yet and need to pull them out for one more once-over before before I do.

I like the superglue plastic epoxy that comes in two parts and you have to mix but it is such a hassle and sets so quickly it makes it impractical to use on complex projects such as putting these figures (or a number of figures together). I am hoping this will prove to be a simpler but no less effective method of bonding soft plastic figures.

The best glue I have used, is a form of super glue. It is called Nail Glue. Women that use fake nails use it. I found out about it at a salon my wife used to go to in the 80’s. It works on hard, and soft plastic. It used to be cheaper than regular super glue. Also on soft plastic, you need to be careful, because it still works by melting the plastic.

You can get this glue at the grocery store, wal-mart, target etc. It is called Nail Glue. I used to use it all the time on figures, Marx, Conte, PlayAlong etc. no problem. I don’t know about OWN figures. So always do a spot test until you know how the glue will react to the plastic.
