Norwegian Moose Patrol

This has to be the strangest conversion I have ever seen. The figure was done by a man who had a massive diorama in his basement. He various battle scenes. Not content with the way the figures look, he did various conversions some interesting and others well best to say different.

Sadly the man died and his collection  was sold off, I got various figures including the figure above. The figure is so odd, I decided to keep him.

Both Russian and Scandinavians (including Finnish) used reindeer, but in must case to pull sled, not to ride, these animals antlers are so large that could hurt you when riding. They also use them to carry heavy loads. Now the problem is in this figure the collector used a (moose=or Eurasian elk)!!/.A complete different animal larger and stronger very difficult and more aggressive than reindeer towards humans.

That definitely looks more like a Moose than a Reindeer. Interestingly enough, on the history channel, it said that Reindeer in Northern Russia are fond of this wild mushroom that causes them to hallucinate, and they bound around like they are flying, no joke, some scholars actually believe, thats where the myth of Santa’s flying Reindeer came from.

    Believe it or not.
