Sandown Toy Show One, our very good friend Michael Smith has been gracious to share photos of this premier show. This coverage will be covered on several posts. I will try to cover other items as well.

Sandown is one of the premier shows in the UK. The show is held several times a year. The pandemic has been off until this past month. Michael Smith attended the show and was kind enough to share photos he took. Here we see a dealer with several important Timpo Meadow Farm.

A closeup of the stand in the second row has Deetail mounted Napoleonic. I wonder how many were left by the end of the show. Also, behind the Deetail Napoleonicare some Timpo swoppet knights.

Michael said they had the biggest queque for the show. It was because the first major show since the shutdown, This dealer setting up with various Britains.

One fun thing is to go through the various boxes a dealer will have. The box in the front has airfix.

Creator of the Playmobil Figures

“Hans Beck was the designer of the Playmobil figurines. He designed the figures as part of the response to the 1970s oil crisis that was making larger plastic toys more expensive.” You can see the article here.
