As I mentioned in the introduction Igor Basevich has previewed a new set for Chin Toys Teutonic Knights. the tentative date for this set is May. The Teutonic Knights operated in the Holy Lands and the Baltic. it was their campaigns in the Baltic they are most known for.

The set has eight poses. they are as follows:

  1. Advancing with sword and shield up.
  2. Advancing with a halberd
  3. With a mace and a shield.
  4. Kneeling with spear and shield
  5. Standing sword out to the right.
  6. Sword up in the air holding helmet in his left hand.
  7. Crossbowman reaching for a bolt for his crossbow.
  8. Preist with his right hand up making a blessing while the left hand hold across on a pole.

This is welcome set to add to your knight collection. We will have to see what other sets they will be coming out with.

  2. ERWIN SELL says:

Chintoy set has several poses not in good real action .Set looks in some poses base in propaganda soviet era film Alexander Nevsky .I will pass on it .Not impress at all.

  3. James Nixon says:

The Teutonic knights look great will get two sets of them. I said to my brother what has happened to Chintoys. So pleased they have come out with a new set.

  4. Tom Black says:

I like the Chintoys Teutonic Knights rarely see a Medieval priest in plastic 1/32 other than Friar Tuck. I would like to see the Crossbowman shooting but he looks okay. Chintoys are also reasonable priced unlike other Russian makers.
