November Figure News One Mars Toys WWII German Paratroopers

November Figure News One Mars Toys
Mars Toys has put up a preview of a future release. The future figure set is World War Two German paratroopers in winter uniform. The eight poses are as follows:
1. Running with a rifle with waist
2. Standing firing a sniper rifle
3. Advancing with a radio on his back. He has a pistol in his right hand.
4. Officer standing with binoculars at face. An automatic weapon is in his right hand
5.Standing firing an MG 34
6. Firing rifle at waist
7. Standing firing an automatic weapon
8. Standing firing a Panzershreck. It does not have its blast shield.
I wonder if there will be a complaint of not having a figure with an ammo box for the MG34.

RE: German Paras.Besides the Loading Ramrod figure my other bugbear is the “Looking through Binoculars” figure but figure looks like fairly easy to re position arm and at least it’s not an advancing officer looking backwards for his men figure.

The Mars German paras look brilliant will be getting four sets of them. Also the Publius pioneers look great too.

The Mars fallschirmjaeger look great. They are really upping their game and for a reasonable price. At this point I give up on scale-to a point- if they’re on the small side of the scale I’ll put them with my older guys (unless they’re 1/35); if they’re on the larger side I’ll stick them with the newer guys (as long as they’re not full 60mm).

I’ve even bought some Marx 60mm Mexican War figures for my Alamo. I just set them up separately in scenarios and use the size differences to create the illusion of distance.

As for the officer pose, I agree about the binoculars, but that is still a good take on it.u
