The Hanging Bridge

bridge

Here is another  fun item I found in a junk lot. It is a hanging bridge between two towers. The bridge is six inches long and works with 54mm figures. Other than it was made in China, I have no idea what it was made for? The towers are five inches tall and have holes at each end so you could have several towers together with bridges.  I will keep a watch out for these pieces at flea markets and shows.  If I ever get the time I will look for the conversion my very good friend Peter Evans did for me. Peter converted a Airfix Australian officer with machete to whip to make the figure like Indiana Jones. I will get some Conte Collectibles Arabs make a nice scene. Now if I can only find the time.

Paul, I have acquired this set through the years in pirate playsets by Gearbox. It also comes with a great observation tower. The tower has been issued with a western fort and playset they do.

That looks like the bridge found in the ToysRUs True Heroes Ultimate Military Playset. Here is a link:

Thanks for the heads up where the bridge appeared. Other than the towers, the bridge and the palm trees, the set does not have much to offer for the price. This is one playset to look for at a flea markets or yard sales.
