December Peter Evans’ Finds Collection Time

December Peter Evans’ Finds, I start off with the latest figures from our very good friend Peter Evans. Next, I look at an ongoing mystery on a figure that is 30 years old.

December Peter Evans’ Finds Figures

December Peter Evans' Finds dinosaurs
Peter sends dinosaurs in his packages as he knows that Laurie likes dinosaurs. When she was a child, she had a set of the Miller dinosaurs until they broke apart. When we got married she got my Miller dinosaurs plus many more. Besides the box set above Laurie got a separate dinosaur.
Star Wars
Peter sent me more of the Star Wars figures that were done a few years ago. I figured that he got them at the Toy Charity Shop, which I hope to get to when I get back to London. he could have also got them in his car boot find. The gold figure should be a special figure.
Cherilea cowboy
One of the items Peter got at the car boot was a six-inch Cherilea cowboy. He had one already so he painted up and sent the figure to me. It will be a nice addition to the collection.
Papo crossbowman
Also from the car boot find was this Papo Crossbowman.
Superheroes
Peter knows I like superheroes. He sent me the following four. The figure on the left is Antman. To his right is a figure from a Japanese anime show. The Porpoise spaceman is interesting. The rhino is an enemy of Spiderman. It had been a cereal giveaway years ago.

Ongoing Mystery

rip masters
Here is an ongoing mystery for me that is at least 30 years old. I went to London for two toy soldier shows. The first one was by Norman Joplin and it was at night. There I met my first German toy soldier dealer Arno Tegli (I may have his name spelled wrong). From him, I got the translucent blue Rip Masters from Rin Tin Tin in the photo. He would not say where it came from. I know he had contacts in South America. Sadly he passed away many years ago.

  1. Mike Handley says:

Though I’ve never seen LT RIP in translucent blue, I DO have some 54 mm cowboys and steers in blue, orange and red translucents that the seller claim came from the warehouse sale after Marx closed.
