Two Markus Winter German Junk boxes
I wonder how long you would spend in from of Peter Bergner’s junk boxes. I figure I would have at least two hours.
Andre Buslov
Our good friend Andrey Buslov (Denitz) from Russia was at the show. He had various figures for sale including Chintoys and Engineer Basevitch. While not cheap you saved on the postage.
Starlux figures
A nice mix of figures the figure Starlux figures and solid Timpo. In a bag behind a box is a Gold Marx Roma. sadly the figure is missing his left hand.
Blue Box fort
Markus shared two of the items he got at the show. The first one was a Blue Box Wild West Fort set. From the photo, you can see the set had a regular tree and a palm tree. The fence system is interesting and I wondered if the fence used elsewhere?
Star Toys
The other set was from Star Toy. The set contains a train with a Fort Apache. The figures are a swoppet type. Markus told me he felt if he had gotten either of the sets as a child, he would have been disappointed.getting copies instead of the originals.
Besides the above sets, he got figures from Peter’s junk boxes and some of the Russian figures from Andrey.

We will have more from the show. I have material from Axel Sohnius and Andreas Dittmann. Andreas has photos of the mi9niature display that was for the show Battle of Hastings. Peter has a different display at each show.

Herne show
As I was working on this article, I found this old photo from one of the early shows. It shows Peter’s parents with Andreas Dittmann and myself. Peter’s parents were great people. The first time they met me they were surprised they could understand even though they did not speak English
If you have not seen Markus first part go here.

Interesting Blue Box using a variation of Crescent horses copies as main horse for riders versus other horses copies of JH used in other western set playset.

The fenced stockade had been used in other sets as well.It was a different horse supplied distribution .in this case they use the crescent carriage horses and made seats x then ,so not cloned direct .

101 pieces playset are the largest playset typical pieces used by BB .
    My thoughts
