Markus Winter German Plastic the show
Looking at the show as you can see it was quite busy. Markus said you had to look under the table as well as on the table.
Another look of the tables
We are on the other side of the pillar. You have to take your time looking over each table carefully.
One of the tables
The teepees are possible by Starlux. The bucket on the right has some Hing Fat ready for conversions.
figures galore
Peter Bergner’s junk boxes on the right are Linde western figures. In the center are Dom Tarzans. The animals on the left to the Tarzan figures are Linde animals.
civilians
Another of Peter’s boxes loaded with civilians
Axel's table
This stand is a closeup of Axel Shonius’s stand. You can see some of his conversions he does. the top two rows are his Indians and Vikings conversions. I like the cowboy sitting fishing.
John Begg's stand
Back to Peter Bergner’s table with some Atlantic and Hong Kong army swoppets.
Model kits
In the background are various model kits. In front of them are Elastolin and Papo
wooden buildings
A little of everythings Britains, Knights of Sword, metal Taiyma metal figure kits, and wooden buildings. I wonder whose figures are in the plastic bag.
Figure and more
Elastolin figures both original and conversion figures for sale
English tables
This should be John Begg’s from the Uk table. Timpo, as we mentioned before, is very popular in Germany.
Dabro Parts Wagons
Dabro Parts Wagons, I am showing them again as I am giving a link to their Germany Ebay Store which shows their various products. They have 430 items ranging from weapons to wagons. You will notice the prices on the wagons will be higher than the show.

We will finish this up in part two. Also, I have report from Axel Sohnius coming up as well. be sure to checkout Detlef’s report as well

One Response to Markus Winter German Plastic Show Report

Looks like the hobby is really thriving in Germany. Interesting that English made Timpo is plentiful in Germany and often at better prices than directly from the UK. Plus, shipping from Germany to CT is quite reasonable. My last order of a Plasty stable and some Elastolin figures from DE was only around $11 and arrived in 8 days. I started collecting Timpo just a few years ago, so it’s still very new and exciting to me. The Timpo wagons and buildings go very well with my old Marx Wild West tin towns and figures. Britains buildings and wagons are also getting to be a major part of my collection. Once I find a Johnny Ringo that I can afford, a gray Alaska Miner Holding a Fur, and a Rifleman cabin with gray HP Porch and Chimney, my Marx collection is pretty well “complete” for what I want, but Timpo and Britains is still very alive. Time for me to move to Europe!!!!
