November Plastic Figure Showcase, we start off with some new. figures from Engineer Basevitch. Next, we share some links on the Allentown Toy Show and Mark Hegeman’s collection. I will round this post out with some more items from the collection.

November Plastic Figure Showcase White Russian Commanders

November Plastic Figure Showcase White Cavalry
Igor Basevitch has announced a new set the commanders of the Russian White Guard. The White Guard was the main opponent to the red Army and fought them from 1017 to 1923. They were a loose confederation of various forces.

The set has four mounted figures. My friend Mathias has identified two of the figures. One is General Baron Pyotr Wrangel.

The other person he has identified is Grigory Mikhaylovich Semyonov. I am sure we will see some regular White figures soon to go against their Red Army figures. We thank Rahway for cluing us on this new release.

If you belong to Facebook you can get to look at the photos of Mark Hegeman’s collection. Mark has a massive collection of rare Marx items including rare six-inch figures. It is quite interesting.

My first experience of the medieval crossbow was with Britain’s swoppet figure. Over the years, I have gotten other crossbowmen including the one above. I believe he was made in France.

The Will West was very popular with foreign plastic figure companies. I like to look for interesting poses. I believe I picked this figure up in Europe. He is hard plastic and I figure he is from Eastern Europe.

    Hello Paul, the medieval is a JEM (You can find it also in hard plastic made by RF).
