Timmee Pioneer Copy

yd15976One of the items that I picked up at Plastic Warrior Show was  this copy of  the Timmee Pioneer Clubbing. First the figure is smaller than the original and second the figure is a plug on its left base. At the moment I have no idea who made it.

  1. The Tim-Mee factory in Germany made 35/40mm versions of the knights so perhaps they made your pioneer. An Italian company, Texas, made western figures that had plug in bases so they might be another possibility.

As you can see Peter Evans has identified the two figures. I knew the pioneer was not Timmee because I could see the figure was pantagraphed. Also the same dealer had Timmee Germany pioneers with the base. Interesting there was no marking on the bottom of the bases of the Timmee figures. Interestingly you should mention the 45mm Timmee knights I did get one at Plastic Warrior show, which I will have up on EBay.

    Hi
Figure is made in France. It was a whole set of copies of various figures, Herald, Timm Mee, Crescent, etc. They plugged into a square base.
I have the backwoodsman holding his musket across his chest, Herald ACW in silver and gold and Crescent Guards in similar colours.
