Rahway once again has score information on a new set of figures from Publius. The set contains 12 figures six Polish figures and six Cossack figures. They are from Uprising of Bohdan Khmelnytsky 1648. Bohdan Khmelnytsky led a revolt against the Polish Nobles. The set is available on Ebay. As usual for Publius, the price is not for the faint of heart.

Ebay Follies

I decided to list on Ebay five of my western women firing pistol done for me by Replicants. Just as I was going to hit the list button I got a pop up from Ebay. It was about their military policy. Now I did not get this when I listed cowboy firing pistol, only western woman firing pistol. by the way, if you are interested, I am selling a set of five western women for $10.00 plus $4.50 U.S. postage (foreign postage is $14.50) as special for my readers I will add another woman in a different color and Roman also done by Replicants for me.

Pocahontas

Pocahontas
When the Disney movie Pocahontas came out in 1995, other companies jumped on the bandwagon. These companies could use the name of Pocahontas as the name is in the public domain. Here is one example
Pocahontas
The set has three 45mm figures. An Indian maiden to represent Pochantos, a colonial figure to represent John Smith and Indian chief to represent Pochantos’ father. Note the Indian chief is a Plains Indian, not an Eastern Woods Indan.
Pocahontas
On the blister card, six safety weapons are listed.

Looking over the six weapons, I only see a rifle that could be used by the colonial figure. The other weapon might be used by your other figures. This is a put together set.

The blister card are more with more poses ,included a canoe set .I got several then ,it appear the weapons were generic put there and I think belong to action figures made in china sets previews just used x these .The 52/54mm figures are a mix of three century american history indian and settlers soldiers figures .Yet interesting sets .
They remind me of EXIN western figures
The military policy is another ridiculous thing to add on on ebay rules x sellers .
The woman western firing replicant/staff pose is a unique figure ,other i ALSO like are the one by Reamsa

So…. if I order the 5 lady shooters from your eBay listing, you will automatically include the 2 extra figures?

Years ago I sold off some excess sets I had laying around on Ebay. It was pretty simple back then. I listed, got charged by percentage of sale and we all walked away pretty happy with the deal.

I went back a few years ago thinking to get rid of some stuff I don’t really have room or time for, or interest in and saw all the new fees and charges and red tape they have added to the process and said forget it.

FYI- The “Colonial” is wearing the wrong clothes for Pocahontas time period who lived from late 1500’s and died in 1617.

    Paul,
If you used the words,”firing pistol”, in your listing, that’s probably what triggered the ebay trolls and why you got that message.
