Rich Fisher got this interest set on Ebay. Here is what he said about the set. Hi PAUL- I’ve attached photos of a COOL bagged set I won on Ebay. It is in 60mm & was made in Hong Kong by a company called JTC Unicorn brand & is numbered #1962 and the Ebay listing called it a Ben Hur set( might just have been a ploy to get bids)

Unfortunately all the rubber bands holding the figures in place have rotted away. Most of the figures are copies of Marx 60mm Romans but there are 2 unique figures & a driver. Whether its a BEN HUR item or not it’s a nice bagged set .  Rich

The Incredibles figures are from Kinder Egg. They are from 2004. Kinder has issued another set in 2018 based on the second movie.

Our final superhero photo contains an interesting mix. I like the Joker and Vision figures.

Peter sent me three figures. The figure on the left has no back. The figure on the right is from the Roche Davy Crockett premium. In the center is the Cherilea prince repainted. According to Peter Evans, the prince only came in the big box set. They do not know who designed the figure as Cherilea’s main sculptor, Cherrington had died in 1962. This mystery sculptor had also done “Francis Drake” in the Elizabethan set and the Cleopatra Egyptians.

The final item from Peter is the Pooping Prez. It is available either as key chain or a stand alone.

As you can see he has his pants down ready to do number two.

If you squeeze his butt brown stuff starts come out. You might find the figure offensive or funny. I find interesting.

  2. James says:

At first glance I thought the prince was Joan of Arc.

The ‘Pooping president’ was obviously designed that way for opposition partisan reasons. I would like to see a 54 mm Trump figure similar to the presidents in the Marx series of presidents.

  3. Mark McNamara says:

  4. ERWIN F SELL says:

I like Detlef set up collection ,his paint job are impressive ,i had seen quite few ,same for way he repair figures with a lot damage and make then looks much better than original.
I had use the Farmer and good HK copies as Boers along with more rare BB hunter firing pose that has a dog attache to base and i just cut it off .The BB tarzan original early set pose firing is quite great too .
Is that and skull in the treetop ?

  5. The Roman set has copies of four Marx and two Crescent figures and the chariot and driver are based upon the Thomas Toys/ Poplar chariot.
