Biplant WWII Russian Figure Controversy Photos Airfix Comparsion

Note that rare Airfix 6 poses AK copies variation was meticulous forced converted to make look closer to Russian by doing following changes. Adding high thick Russian style boots.Removing all German standard typical braces that hold the belt to shoulders with Y connection in back.Removing typical German cylinder round mask, canteen and bayonet scabbard in belt.Adding a very small Russian style helmet poorly done.
Removing in two poses the lower back opening in tunic. WW2 Russian style Russian M35 and M43 Gimnasterka Tunic were close in back without opening and had not front lower pocket as Germans one.But they left the two-bottom pocket in front in these conversions made. An error. The stick grenade was left as both Russian and Germans used alike modelsThe bolt action rifles were left as both armies use then even so were very different, they can pass.
The machine gun could be generic, captured or else.Interesting is they adopted and revise German figures for it and did best to do changes. In my opinion are well done, yet I have giving then German Axis allied use better than Russian. I can use then as Rumania, Czechoslovakian, Italians or even Russian units in German side that were many thousand and fight a lot.In the past Chinese maker had done crude conversion Afrika Korp -AK Airfix poses with just adding a helmet instead the cap/hat only. There many more close up photos if need .

Biplant is a Russia toy factory that produced many plastic toy soldiers as well most toy for early children ages since 2000.

They start by releasing former Oriet mold clones of airfix few poses sets as well some new made recently.

Also, it is uncertain if they acquired partial Oriet fantasy folklore molds and recast then in more crude style plastic recently too or just clone then in no all poses.
For now you can see main site from Biplant here .

As original set they had done one set anti-Terrorist 4 poses post here by admin before

Another interesting set that was done new after the anti-terrorist 4 poses set is this second set that ironical can be use as terrorist or insurgent because of mask and poor detail.

I had acquired then and are quite tall 65mm or 70mm making them difficult to match with modern soldiers unless FV,New Ray 60 mm , BOLEY and ENKERMAN Chinese made 60/65 mm soldiers or or others in tall scale range.

Still if place far enough can be use with 54 mm modern NATO soldiers easy.

There speculation as to another Publius and EB been copied not release or sold yet.
So far some saracen from Publius had been copied .

If you’re going to copy them, at least change them up a little so that the collectors will need to have them.

I don’t mind if cloned or not as far they offer much lower price ,even with lost of 10/15% detail i take chances .I’m looking forward more copies soon.
and Publius suing Bi plant will be a hard fight as BIPLANT is well stronger establish and Publius too copy many metal figures .So they could be also take x same reason in return .
PP and Publius have beautiful figures sculpture or I consider then more ” mini art statues figurines”.But way too insane crazy priced and barely few can afford those prices .While these copies are far cheaper even with high shipping if any as the shipping cost from Russia is actually much cheaper with tracking that from UK,Belgium ,Germany or France .
I understand the high complicate cost making but in that case is like selling Elastolin or vintage that can only be afforded by few.
I initially bought many sets from PP sets but to a point where i stop as i realize they are worth value but not worth x me spend in so few .
Even with good relation importing many sets from PP direct as well others makers i can take my own decision in collecting regarding money and true can not be denied.
PP and Publius are too expensive x plastic figure .
      My thoughts.

I only someone was smart enough to copy EXPEDITIONARY FORCE’S WWII sets and downsize them, THEN they would have a real product they could sell for real!
