Of course, super insane well done as usual. Hope finish are same.
Because these are extremely super well-done sculpture figures more than classic toy soldiers as same happen with very minor wrong mini detail in Viet Nam US troopers /marines made. I like bring mine here as well.
This time been just a purist minor detail only I see a small mistake made.
Least -Two poses have the jump knee protector that if would they have it and been with weapons would be not quite correct, it was supposed to be removed right after jumping as was cumbersome and reduce mobility as per training and can bee see in war documentary German training in you tube all around
It was literally disposable knee pad to use x landing jump only and most damage or get loose at fall.
You can barely ever see a para using it once they got in to action.

The Germans paratroopers never jump with weapons for two reason.
    First-
The German parachute used by paratroopers was simple, with just one riser attached to the back of the harness. The advantage was that compared to the British and American designs, the parachute had a lower opening altitude, meaning that the paratroopers could be dropped from a lower altitude, reducing the time they would dangle helplessly in the air, to be shot at. The drawbacks were that the parachute was not steerable and breakable and that the paratrooper dangled in a position where his upper body was hanging a bit forward (as he was suspended between the shoulder blades). So, every landing had to be carried out as a forward roll (hence the knee protectors German paratroopers wore). A long rifle would get into the way of that roll and cause injuries. Therefore, German paratroopers just jumped armed with a pistol and a couple of grenades (most likely the “egg” type as opposed to the more common stick grenades)
    Stick grenades were drop separated.
    Second
As they were droop from very low quality lighter transport planes that were not made for war( the JU-88) but rush x it service roll early in war and require few weight to increase it speed and altitude .As result the weapons(rifles,SMG,LSMG else ) were drop separated in other canisters and often miss placed drop way too far from troopers .It was one of main reason many got kill or capture during early stage of Crete invasion as were cut with out weapons in open or when dropping and kill or capture by well-armed defenders and even militia/partisan .
Late in the war 1943 it was determining to be done drop with weapons using other planes, but not large operation ever done and used as infantry roll transported in most cases.

Otherwise the poses and detail are super awesome done.
    My thoughts.
    Best

    looks very good !!!

  5. Christian Aldo says:

I say keep the knee pads! That’s what makes them “Crete” Paras!
But I also say Loose the over-sized bases.
A figure bass should always be neutral.

A small flame is dying out within those of us who are collectors of toys soldiers, the lifelong, electronic video game machines that demonize our children, despoiling them and alienating them from our cultural heritage, who will inherit this beautiful world that siblings us through the history of the world of the toy soldier without going against the current of the system? Who will we leave our fantastic collections? to uncultivated scrap dealers? … every day that passes is one more day to think about it. May God bless you all!

The idea of the set is they have just landed. That’s why some still wear knee protectors, and few even didn’t take off the jumpsuits.
Another great set from the leading producer.

At landing they remove the knee pad as per training .is all over in footage. No weapon s with then during landing at all. Then pick up weapon s
Simple.wrong idea-simple wrong depicted .Minor mistake ,not big deal but definitely not correct at all.
