very sad to hear of this. PJ’s group was my best resource when i first got into collecting. and he was darned nice guy; he’d often drop me a line out of the blue to see how i was doing.

til later, PJ.; keep all the toys ready until we get there.

  7. Wayne W says:

Sad news indeed. Condolences to his family.

  8. Terrible, terrible news. PJ was a great help to me when I first started in this business, we used to chat all the time, have fallen out of touch with him a bit recently, but did speak with him a short time ago. I’m stunned; this hobby has introduced me to so many wonderful people and when we lose one of them, it hurts. RIP PJ, God’s speed and say hello to my Dad and Bill Lango for me, see you on the other side someday.

Before we had all the high speed websites, his discussion group was the quickest way we learned of new products and manufacturers, and the way many of us connected on line and in person. Rest in peace Paul!

I have his address if anyone wants to send a card; 1419 8th Ave, Neptune, NJ, 07753. I just talked to him last week, he seemed fine, said he was going in for “extensive dental work” on Wed and he would call me. He never did… still quite a shock.

  11. Mark McNamara says:

    RIP

  12. Mike Westbay says:

So sad. emailed him last Wed or Thurs to confirm E Coast show date. He was a true bright spot in our hobby – always selflessly giving & trying to help. RIP Paul. You will be missed.
