Here we have more Italian rubber figures to enjoy.Milan Italy Toy Show September 2018Detlef had a number of tables with bags of figures.  it hard to tell what is in these boxes. Milan Italy Toy Show September 2018

Atlantic ancient loose figures are some of the figures in the tubs. Detlef told me the prices for Atlantic ancient foot  were close to the price here. He also told me the highest demand are for the Atlantic western figures. Milan Italy Toy Show September 2018

American figure production were represented on this table. You can see bags of figures from TSSD and CTS. Milan Italy Toy Show September 2018One thing you can see from this table is how U.S. Comic characters are popular in Italy as well as here. Milan Italy Toy Show September 2018

The Japanese animations show were quite popular in in Italy. in the80’s and 90’s Even Atlantic did several sets of giant robots. In the lower right corner you will notice a box with Spiderman on it. Marvel comics licensed Spiderman to Japan for a live action show. Naturally Spiderman  had to have his own giant robot Leopardon.  Leopardon was part of the Mattel Shogun Warriors Line minus the Spiderman part. Milan Italy Toy Show September 2018

Our final photo is of more Italian rubber figures. If you would like to see more from the show let us know.

Prices for Atlantic, particularly in 1/32 scale (probably 65mm) — like Ancients & Old West — are high, in my opinion, both at shows and on ebay.

But at shows here in the U.S., the even bigger problem is lack of availability. They just don’t show up that often on dealer tables, after years of seeming to be plentiful.

I’ve slowly but surely amassed a good collection of them myself, but I regret selling off a number of sets I had a few years back, because they were expensive to replace, once I decided I had to have them in my collection after all.

The Atlantic Greeks & Trojans, even though they are not nearly as detailed as Conte’s Spartans, blend in quite well, size-wise. And they go perfectly with the LOD Trojans & Greeks.

So even if prices at the Milan Toy Soldier Show approach those here in the U.S., at least there are dealers at the show who are offering them for sale.

I remember a few years back (maybe 10 years) at the Michigan Toy Soldier Show John Stengel Jr. commented on how he was noticing an increasing demand for 1/32 scale Atlantics, with a resultant & inevitable rise in prices.

But all in all, looking at the photos of the Milan, Italy show, it looks like it was a great toy soldier event.

Detlef you had what I call your magical moment. A magical moment is you go to a show and see this worthful things. You are overwhelmed and it takes you back to being in your favorite toy store. I have that at PW and Germany. I havebeen honored to share other peoples’ moments as well. If I get to France and now Italy it will happen again.

Atlantic figures in 1/32 Romans, Greeks, Trojans and Egyptians there was massively from 2 euros upwards .. got a bag of 12 Egyptians for 20 euros .. with something to trade .. WW2 figures also about 2 euro upwards if more takes there is a general rabbat .. hardly rabbat contrast, in the western sets or poli sets .. this only loose .. have seen little in packaging .. some blister yes ..
