We heard that Robert Bruce who appears on Comic Book Men giving apprisal advice on items will doing a show going around the country appraising various toy collections, but not buying like Toy Hunter. As we get more details we will pass them along.
Speaking of Comic Book Men, our good friend Jeff Rabkin from Beachhead Comics will be on the show December 2 selling a Hulk Comic. We will be watching this episode to see how he does.
I picked up the TSSD Barbarians and Romans add-on set at the York Toy Show for a friend and myself. The figures are typical TSSD. My only question is why are three of the barbarians are in similar poses.
Laurie gave me one of my Christmas presents early, a fruitcake. Most people do not like fruitcake and they usually end up as door stoppers. For me fruitcake is a pleasant memory. After I learned how to drive, my father found out about this auction in New Jersey that sold closeouts. My family and I would spend a few hours on a Friday or Saturday night at the auction buying various items and listening to the spiel of the auctioneer. One of the things we would get at Christmas time was a fruitcake. The auction is long gone, but when I eat the fruitcake, I can go back for a few moments to the auction.
