Elastolin saw the success of Timpo in Germany and they decided to do their own line of swoppet parts. Unlike Timpo Elastolin did not do over moulding. Instead they did parts in different colors and merged them together.

I see six different colors. the bandolier is loose where if it was a Timpo figure it would have been molded on. Plastic Figure Showcase Part Two Elastolin Mexican Technolog Pirates

Here are Elastolin cowboy and Plasty cowboy.  Both are very similar.  I have added Timpo weapons.

My one purchase last month was a set of the Technolog pirates.  The price from Russia is very cheap. They are only $2.50 with a $4.00 shipping charge. The figures stand very well. The detail is excellent.  I will pick up more of these figures in the future.

I am not sure if  I have shown these two figures before. The figure on left is marked Roche Fees. I figure him for a French farm set.  The figure on the right is a Jockey. Was it to a game or not. One of the many things you find in a junk lot.  As I have said before most of my fun these days is finding things in a junk lot.

      As far i know ..
Leyla set -They are regular post WW2 army from late 60s Bundeswehr not paratroopers. The Leyla army set has 11 poses with 6 regular soldiers in fall/rain jacket dressing as those above and 5 as follow.1 officer,2 aviator/pilots,1 Paratrooper (in jumpsuit and w parachute ropes) plus 1 soldiers marching -walking in fatigue uniform position.I think is another pose seated too.
      Best

I have a really nice Elastolin Mexican swoppet with a guitar on his back. The guitar really added a lot of personality to the figure.

  3. The tan figure on the left of the jockey is marked ROCHE FEES on the front of his base, that makes him a French made premium but I don’t know who he is supposed to be.

  4. Markus says:

Just an add up to Brians post:
The figure is a nameless farmer done by Roche aux Fees in the 70s of a series of 24 figures. 4 humans (2 male 2 female) and 20 (in fact 25 animals as there is one duo on one base plus two trios on one base in the animal section).
There are nice pics in Jean-Claude Piffrets really well done book Figurines Publicitaires.

Markus and Brian thanks for update . I need glasses as I read the figure wrong LOL Yes I have the book you mention Markus . I bought it at the PW show years ago. I was disappointed that no one had any book at this year’s show. I was looking for some of the other French history boks.
