The Boys and Brocoli

The boys love brocoli. To them it is like steak. Percy and Quinn will eat it plain, but not Sparky. He has to have a sauce on the brocoli. When I would get a salad at one of my local supermarkets, I would get some brocoli salad for him. The supermarket got a new salad person, and the person dropped the brocoli salad.  People filed a complaint on the dropping of the brocoli salad. I filed a complaint for Sparky. The person said if I called ahead I could get him salad. I decided instead to try some of the brocoli from the California medely.  Sparky like the brocoli so I have not order the salad for him.

Today I got a salad and mention to the salad person about the brocoli. The person was a substitue for the regular person.  I told her about sparky’s situation. The person had heard about it from the deli.  I got a strange look, but what can I say I take care of the boys.

Hi Paul: I’m chuckling reading about your boys and Broccoli. Our girls love carrots. Little-One, will eat them cooked or raw. While Sweetie will only eat them cooked.
I hesitate to think of them eating Broccoli. I think the results would be disastrous, if you know what I mean.

Glad to learn you are on the mend!

      Hi Bill
We used to give carrots to Jasmine our dog before the boys, but had to switch her to brocoli as she was getting too much sugar. Surprisingly we do not get any gas problems with the boys. We have to watch Quinn now as he might have an uncler. He got some spicy chicken the beginning of the week and threw up. There was blood so Laurie had him over at the Vet the last couple of days. Quinn comes home today.

      Hi Glen
Thank you for the kind words, I will talk about my health situation more very soon. The biggest shock for me was the tumor on the lung. Laurie and I are very anti–smoking. I have only gone into one spot over the last few years that the person smoke. I have stopped going there. The doctors tell me that 15 to 20% of their patients are non smokers. I was glad that the tumor was not cancerous.
One thing I have added to my diet is we are adding in the Indian spice tumeric. I have read reports that it is good in fighting cancer.
