Lido Aliens Aboard

I was looking at a French figure site when I discovered this.

 Here is the English translation:

This series which appeared meagre initially, became grandiose.

Initially, these figurines are American, the Lido toy brand that  were produced in 1952. These characters are from a TV series “Captain Video” 1951 and a comic of the same name.

In 1953, they are Raisin Bran cereals that will propose 12 various colors except the gold and silver.

Subsequently, the figurines, but also vehicles Lido, will cross the Atlantic to be distributed in Spain and France. But Captain Video is completely unknown in Europe, which is why the Spain will be released under the name “Saturn patrol” via the mark Reama plásticos and the France will propose them as “Martians against earthlings” via cheese Tower, the Hommeel and the Basilica (see the blotting).

Found also in Argentina under the brand name Trovador. Except for this last country (subject to learn more), the figurines are made of hard plastic. Most are at 45mm but there are smaller.

Concerning Heudebert, it is certainly a sequel because found some figures, such as the H-7 reference. They are engraved Heudebert under the stands. Attention however, these models are perhaps the German Heudebert.

For the moment no indication whether or not the characters from pie charts have a bi–pin base.

Once again it is interesting how American figures were  copied aboard.

I HAVE NOW all the collection with 14 different mini space ships and the “catapult” too. I been looking for the space fort for years but not luck as most time is not complete or rust parts.
Now I have a question, my original(my dad) figures were as we know made of all rare bright colors and very crystal hard plastic that could be dropped but God forbid step even with hand over or will crack IN 10 PIECES. These were 45 mm
But after year buying more to complete the collection, I had found same figures with a very same material colors but a bit less sculpted in 35 mm scale!? Those any one could tell me who did these smaller version!!??one has a mark TC s USA
I still have few as most I resale when complete my original collection. They are not reamsa who sold then in soft plastic version unpainted silver or gold and white too.
