The formerly bareheaded cavalryman w/ sword: I added a sword back using an MPC Rev War one and gave him a kepi. I ‘aged’ the paint job and he really looks like he was cast that way….57 years ago.
The Kneeling firing pistol: carved a kepi out of what was left of his hat. Recreated a pistol out of a BMC barrel and MPC hammer. Added a Marx accessory holster as his was cut off. This one was SO bad, I had considered just tossing him in the conversion fodder bin.
Officer w/ sword and pistol: added back the sword (a la MPC), He was crushed so I heated treated him back into being 3D. Lastly, gave him a kepi.
I’m still looking for mounted guys to convert from the 60mm Cavalry set. Also: Looking for standing and kneeling firing 54mm Marx 7th cavalry guys. Color not too important.
