From looking at the pictures it looks like they have solved the problem of the curled weapons so hope they just didn’t cherry pick these figures for the pictures because for the asking price the curled weapons I’ve seen in other pictures would be a brake on purchasing.

  2. Ed Borris says:

They are not of my periods of interest, but they look to be nicely sculpted with good poses. Are they are a soft or harder plastic?

    • erwin says:

They are made of soft/medium type Polyethylene material, with some plug/glue arms and weapon part, great for conversion and very suitable for that by just moving and switching arms from one figure to other with some minor cut adaptation, easy to cut too..Once again need to be cut off from factory sprue and weapons need to hot /cold water process to straight them!!Erwin=seller on eBay as (sellss1)

  3. Gary Kuepfert says:

Can,t find them on ebay, HELP!

  4. Don Perkins says:

I’ve typed in sellss1 every place I can think of, and nothing leads me to Ervin’s site. Does Ervin have a website? Could we have an address? Maybe we need exact instructions on how to get to sellss1? I locate and purchase things on ebay all the time, but I just can’t find a sellss1. If I type in “Stadstuff”, it takes me right to this location. When I type in sellss1, I get the message “0 results found”.

  5. Lynn Graves says:

Just got them all. This method worked very well.

  6. Gary Kuepfert says:

Got all 4 sets, sculpting is great just a bit on the small side when compared to AIP.

Maybe it has been discussed and I missed it. These figures have 2001 and 2002 manufacture dates on the bases. What is the history behind them and why are they just now showing up? Got mine and weapons will need to be straightened and nearly every pose.

What we know at this moment is test shots showed up on the a Russian toy soldier site. He had gotten them from a Chinese Collector and did not have any more information. Several people including myself tried find out more information on this company with no luck. Somehow Erwin found the company and was able to purchase the figures for resell.
At the moment I feel OWN was Chinese company that selling the figures for the local market.

  8. Gary Kuepfert says:

To be completely honest I bought one of each of the 4 different sets it came to $144. I wish I hadn,t done it! Again good sculpts but on small side and really these figures represent time periods that really are not relevent with my collecting.

  9. lynn graves says:

The WW2 Chinese go together very well. The Japanese will need some hot pinning and body filler. The early Chinese need a little work.

  10. Ray says:

Just bought a set each of the Chinese and Japanese figures – excellent sculpting and pretty good fit when it comes to plugging in arms – recommended!

Glad you enjoy the figures, they cover periods that are overdue for coverage. When you add in Bassevitch Engineer with its coverage of Russian history revolution and pre World War II you have some interesting figures to look for.
