In the past I would give listing for Chiller which is next month. I can not give that recommendation this time to the show after what we experienced last year. The old location was nice and you could get in to see the stars with minimum hassle. The new location was a mess and there was an hour wait to get into the main room where the stars were. Everything was chopped up and staff did not know where things were.
Another show that is having similar problems is the HorrorHound Convention this weekend in Cincinnati Ohio. I was checking on the show because Jordan Hembrough of Toy Hunter was there. Jordan had a booth at the show and they were filming for an episode. The website for HorrorHound Conventions had a forum where they had a number of postings of people complaining about the wait to buy tickets, get autographs and even the dealers room had problems with crowds. The place was over crowded, one woman had to hold on to her nephew’s shirt for fear of losing him in the crowd. There were people that had a good time, but I was surprised with the number people complaining. That is not a good sign as it will turn people off from going in the future.
