Our very good friend Peter Evans has passed along some news about figures that he found out at the Birmingham UK Gift Show. Peter talked to the distributor of the Supreme figures in the UK. The UK distributor had gotten the Chinese company to make British and French Napoleonic Figures. These figures will be in 54mm and while Peter did not see the figures themselves, he was shown photos of the masters and was impressed.
Safari is doing American Revolution figures British and colonials. these figures are in the larger scale. They are also suppose to do Romans and President Barrack Obama figure.

Checking on the New York Toy fair, we are waiting to hear more about a series from Mattel called Max Steel. The storyline revolves around teenaged boy trying to unlease his inner hero. In the line up of figures and accessories is Max Steel™ Turbo Battlers Basic Figure Assortment, which offers two-inch scale figures on spinning bases for battles, perfect portability and collectability.
Lego is doing various Lone Ranger sets. I really hope someone does some regular figures. Hasboro is doing Lego type figures and pieces for GI Joe.
We will keep a watch. If anyone goes to the New York Toy Fair let us know what you see. I gave up going as I am not dealing in new items.
