Several people asked how the Marx 6 Inch compared to the Payton figures. Ed was nice enough to do a comparsion for them.  As you see the Payton figures will work well with them

Peter Bergner during his show somehow found time to find some items for his collection. He found some of Lone Star skin divers in orange. They were done in this color for James Bond movie “Thunder Ball”.

Peter found several space men. In the upper left corner is a rare Pal   spaceman from Greece.  To the right is the game piece based on the Archer robot. The lower row in the center has the Thomas Toy alien. The figure was also done in the UK. This one has a base.

    best..

  3. Mark T. says:

What scale and material are the Blueberry figures? Are they 54-60mm or larger like Papo figures? They look like they could be plastic, PVC or even painted metal.

I’m sure it would be very hard to find them, especially in North America, but those are really nice figures!

    • Les White says:

The French magazine figures tend to be either painted metal, most common, or a resin material.
The scale generally is 1:30th so around the 60 – 65mm range.
You could possibly find them on the French Ebay site where many of the other types are offered.

  4. ed borris says:

Pech Hermanos did a pose very close to that in their cavalry set.

    • ERWIN SELL says:

Ed good observation ,yes indeed and was also copied later by Jecsan as PH pose is from 1957.
The indian pose as apache as well .
      Interesting similarities.
      best

  5. ERWIN SELL says:

The spacemen (with separated bases)were done first by APS-TEXAS ,then sold as gum ball machine by two other brands, one did a set of 12 varied poses with minor changes ,other did not just copied or use same mold, entire three sets collection (TEXAS-24 poses total of aliens and men ) plus two other brands are depicted in italian books as well blogs/forum of italian brands.
There was a rare pirate maker of unknown origin that appears once while but not with bases as those.
    best ..
