All New Product Sets Former Blue Box the Information

Interesting info received.

Former Blue Box 2014-2017 sets being sold under a US importer from minor SC company .

A vendor and dealer carrying products made by Blue Box had enter with Blue Box in US importing under his label(SUNNY DAYS ENTERTAINMENT, LLC) the past Elite series army set buckets, pirates and action sets figures from BLUE BOX production carry and sold at Target and others before .

Ironic a fairly tale unicorn bucket set released in 2015 ,a 2016 mini flat horses rare set and a new camping wild adventure Buckets sets had come as well imported under it .But nothing about mysterious Elf and orcs sets bucket from Blue Box .

So far the Wilde camping adventure new set with nice interesting camping and explorer figures(6 new poses) ,animals as well nice accessories and typical terrain cover bucket is seen in the above link from eBay . (The set is only $7.85  with free shipping)

Also there is a farm horse set bucket with some flat horses in nice poses and some riders sold under same carriers . this set is $14.99 plus shipping unless you are a prime member.

These were on Amazon, and recently a few buckets could be found in TJ Maxx/Marshalls where I was able to grab an Outdoor Adventure and Horse Farm. I passed on a fairy and unicorn bucket that looked great for little girls. Like Erwin, I had my fingers crossed that they might have done the elfs and orcs bucket – but no sign of them. Apparently they have also done a dinosaur bucket. I have never seen one in person, but from Amazon pictures, it looks like the similar sort of thing you can get at ToysRUS.

Sadly, in my part of the world the Sunny Days buckets seem to have disappeared at TJ Maxx/Marshalls – but they may be around in other parts of the US and maybe they will show up again.

The fact that BB release three more bucket sets after the showed at Fair elf set plus BB response here that it will not be produced may me think we will never see it unless other brand get mold and priduce it.
      My thoughts

I wonder why they did not release the elf and orc bucket. I can’t believe that the market would be horrible for a fantasy set. As I remember, they did look a bit like the Lord of the Rings – could they have been worrying about intellectual property issues – though that seems far-fetched. I really like the Outdoor Adventure set – male and female hikers, fishermen, a little boy, etc. plus lots of animals, a tent and vehicles. The Horse Farm is a much smaller scale, but also nice. As Erwin points out the Outdoor Adventure people can be used for all kinds of stuff, and these buckets are great for people looking for non-conflict playsets.

The Elves were completely original. I thought they were knights at first actually. The evil forces, on the other hand, were highly derivative of the different creatures of Sauron and Saruman. There were identifiable Uruk Hai, Orcs, a ring wraith and even what looked like a wingless balrog. They were very nice figures, and I would love to get multiple sets, but I have to admit they looked pretty much like they were lifted from the Rings movies.

Mark I took all the photos and grab then many time in hands .I spoke to the vendor and main representative of BB that day at NYC TOY fair .Unfortunately my camera phone i use that day had not great focus for detail in small figures and was not appropriate to give the good credit the figures deserve.I took many photos ,admin only post few of the best …
In my opinion the knights and orcs were more detailed and thick than pirates and skeletons. Some remains of ACCURATE and Airfix men at arms .The gold was not gloss as picture w flash show and black was matte ,not gloss too.
The knights were elven/ELF type in armor and archer ears in some but others looks like knights with decor horned as those erroneous teutonic depicted . .The Orcs appear in my opinion a mix of (Two towers) mix with later copycat film In the Name of the King orcs and others.
The set was name as elves/orc battle set if i recall well in only one original bucket pack i saw at glass shelves that day .
While orcs appear copies derived from LOTR film ,knights /elven are very unique
At the end the best and first to introduce this type or orc and elven warriors style in armor and features was Lord Of the Ring with WETA company under Peter Jackson wife direction.Today Games of thrones is all mix armor and costumes derived from LOTR and Hobbit as well the thematic …
Even werewolf one films Underworld: Rise of the Lycans)-2009(begin with elven dress type vampire fighting ty werewolf in ancient times and the armor are almost identical to Lord of The ring films ,so clearly seen that i though x moment they were elven not vampires..
        back to set not done
The way they offer to buyers were by pallets of them and Target decision of closing the space for BB in 2016 was a killer for entire elite series line included the nice action figure range .
The pirates were released while Pirate ship never was released and was very well detailed ,impressive and big.
A MOLD x set was definitely done ,last letter from BB direct that i pass to admin and was post here clearly indicate BB direct will not release then ,so unless they sale molds to others it wont come to light .
I recently contact again BB and receive same exact answer ,so not release by them.
The fact that past Elite army set, pirates and these 3 NEW sets had been offered to be sold under other label by BB means good or bad news x those sets not done .But as Fantasy set was not mass produced may be bad news
        my thoughts..
        best

I agree admin ,it has many figures to be use as charters or else ,they blend with Marx explorer too and resent set i inquire with explorer and africans natives by TM that thanks to good friends i complete sets now.
        best..

  4. Darren Hatley says:

As ive stated before on this site, When Erwin first told us about the Orcs and Elves bucket and showed us some pictures I was really excited about them coming out and thought they looked Great, I brought the bucket of Pirates and Skeletons and thought they looked really good although slightly on the short side at about 48mm, The Fairytale bucket isn’t to bad with a few nice figures that could be added to a Fantasy set but it is mainly aimed at girls. Considering Fantasy has been so massive over recent years i’m really surprised that BlueBox didn’t bring them out as i’m sure they would have sold well and I would have brought at least 1 or 2 buckets, And I know other people who would have been interested in buying them. However as Erwin has stated its not looking good that these figures will be coming out, And I think that the more time that passes the less likely they will ever come out which is a massive shame. I keep my fingers crossed that they will come out one day.

  5. Lynn Graves says:

One could modify the fishing pose into a number of different ones by adding new weapons.

    • admin says:

I got my set today and I have just glance at it an I like it very much. I was thinking the same thing on fisher man that you change him to have various weapons.
