February 2026 Sandown Toy Show: The Report

Michael got to the show about half an hour after the show opened and found a line to get in.

Michael saw various Marx items at the show. Here is a mint The Big Parade.

Dealers used every space they could find, including the counters of closed stands.

Steve Vicars had a nice selection of metal and plastic figures.

Another Marx item, still mint in the box.

Radicon Tank, radio remote

Two boxes of figures. The one on the left has Britains Deetail construction workers.

Timpo station figures in the box. Lead figures, for which the dealer wanted 360 pounds ($487.00).

A table of figures has Timpo and Britains plastic.

This photo is a close-up of the previous photo. You can see the dealer had Britains nurses for sale. Michael said there were collectors from France and Germany at the shows.
This had bags of plastic figures, cigarette cards, and lead figures. Notice the two cards of Britains Deetail.

A close-up of the bags of figures. The only one the dealer had labeled was Modern German infantry.
Here is a box set of a 1/72 scale Airfix set for the Western Front.

Some small trays with Timpo and Britains figures.
Some generic large soldiers are new production.

Some lead Britains figures.
Below the Starlux figure are some metal figures listed as Doctor Who. The one alien with the air hose is a copy of Lido.

Here you have more figures to look at mostly Britains Deetail.
A box of British plastic is only a pound each.
Just a Few More

The boxes have mostly lead, but I see a Beton Indian.

Some Marx Man from Uncle Thursh agents and Viewmaster set for the show.
Finally, two boxes for lead figures.
Here is the video of the show. It is mostly on action figures. It will give you an idea of the show.
