November 2025 Marx Fun Figures

November 2025 Marx Fun Figures. As we get ready to celebrate Thanksgiving, I would like to share some figures with you. The first one is a Marx figure with an interesting story. Next, I will share some interesting figures, some at our recent Indoor Garage Sale. So sit back and enjoy.

November 2025 Marx Fun Figures Soldier

The above figure is the Marx Army officer. This version is the hard plastic version made in Germany. Louis Marx had found a company, Heimo in Germany that would do his figures in hard plastic painted. Heimo also sold these figures in Europe.

The figure is not rare, what made him unique to me is where I found him. I found him when I was cleaning the garage. I was surprised on his condition. Despite laying on the garage floor, he is in excellent shape. For now, he will be placed with my special figures. If I ever get a chance to do my stories, he will be part of them. His name will be Garan.

Indoor Garage Sale

At our local fairgrounds, they have two indoor garage sales in the year. It can be hit or miss depending on what was there. This year, a dealer had a complete T Cohn Naval Base Playset for $175.00. I passed on it as I did not want it for myself and playsets are a hassle to ship. I did find a party that had bags of plastic figures and accessories. In a bag of Nabisco baseball players, I found one that had a base. Flipping it over, I saw on the underside of the base Made in Hong Kong. He was a later copy that was sold on a blister card.

Another bag had four 45mm Indians. I did realize that one of the figures was the Indian with a scalp. This figure was pulled from the playsets due to complaints from the parents.

November 2025, Marx, Fun Figures Olympic

One other figure from this lot is a copy of the Crescent Cowboy with a lasso. I think he was a cake decoration. The olympic discus thrower was found from a different seller. He was the only athlete figure among cowboys and Indians.

Some Other Figures

Amish Figures

At a flea market I found these figures. I believe they are by Boley and are part of an Amish set. I picked them up as I figure I could use them in a western setup.
