September 2025 Odds Ends Sawbuck and More, you never know where a treasure will show up. I found that out today when looking for some other items. Also, some items that I have found recently.
September 2025, Odds Ends Sawbuck

Today, I went into the collection looking to see if I had items for some orders. I did not, I did find some interesting items. The first one was the Marx sawbuck. The sawbuck was only in a few playsets. I knew one collector spent two years trying the find one.
So I was surprised that I still had one. A few moments later, I was more surprised that I had another one. Then OMG, I had a third one. So I am keeping one and selling the other two.
Another surprise was to find the western chair in yellow. I wonder where this was used.

Also, in the accessory box was this cannon. I do not remember where it was from, but I will use it with some of my medieval figures.

One final item from the accessory box was this Timmee pirate cannon. I found I had two one in red and one in blue. So I will sell this one.
Other Items

At a previous flea market, I found some Marx band figures and this early Britains farm hand with a rake, which I will keep. A friend gave me this horse, which I immediately identieid as Reisler. I like Reisler and have a number of their figures in my collection.

These farm figures were a surprise. They are by Elastolin and are soft plastic, and 54mm. I wonder when they were made and why Elastolin went to this scale.
Toy Show Time
Fall gives a number of shows to check out. Last week, I had the Lehigh Valley Toy Show. This show is held twice a year. The chances finding any figures is low. I only saw two bags of new soldiers and a Marx Flintstone Playset. The Flintstone Playset sold for $120.00. My purchases amounted to some action figures and one figure. I did meet a collector outside and bought some items from him. You can see a video here of the show
Today, I did a new Toy Show in Hamburg , PA. It was held in their fieldhouse. The fieldhouse was where the WWW filmed their shows in the 70’s. American Wrestling is now using the fieldhouse.
The show had about a dozen dealers. No figures, but one dealer was blowing out action figures on the card for $5.00 each. He was selling Star War figures two for $5.00. I picked up a few ncluding a Catwoman, I had years ago.
Next week, I will have three shows to do.

The cannon or medieval later period bombard is a copy of Pressman 1990s produced for war board game ,this copy was made by Supreme and copied used by others in early 2010 approximately
The yellow Bar M chair would have come in Marx Dollhouses which had an attached “Ruckus” room. This is where the Jukebox, Milk bar, piano, and the ping pong tables were used. Chairs could come in other colors such as blue, red, or green.
I thought it was from a dollhouse set.
