“September 2025: Searching for Items. This past Labor Day weekend, I went out to see what I could find at various flea markets. The results were interesting.”
September 2025 Searching Day One

On Saturday, I attended my first market. The market has always been hit or miss. I’ve found some nice items before. This time, it seemed like it was going to be a bust. I approached one last stand, which sells trains. I don’t think I’ve bought from this stand in ten years.Looking around when I spotted two Britains buildings on top of a pile of Plasticville buildings. One was the livery stable pictured above, and the other was a modern stable. I purchased both.
Day Two and Day Three

On day two, I visited a flea market where I managed to find some composition and metal figures, but overall, it was a bit of a dud. Day three was dedicated to two different flea markets. The first one used to be a fantastic spot, especially during holiday Mondays. However, this time, I didn’t find anything worth buying. The second flea market usually only operates on Saturdays and Sundays, but if the holiday falls on a Monday, it also opens. Here, I discovered a number of interesting items, including two figures from Fleetwood. Fleetwood produced a series of rack toys for the movie, The Sword and the Sorcerer, in the early ’80s. The toys had no connection to the movie. Fleetwood did several figures which are nice to add to your fantasy figure line. The figures are usually missing their weapons. I added some Britians weapons.

I picked up a couple figures for myself. The first was a five-inch MPC astronuat, he was one of three the dealer had. The other two are going to a friend. I had always wanted the diver you had in a fish tank. This one is from a newer production. The final figure is a Processed Plastic civilian. I did get some Marx pieces for resale.
Aurora Tarzan Animals

Someone asked tto see the Aurora Tarzan animals. Here they are.
That is not the complete set of Aurora Tarzan anaimals.
Yes, I know the set is not complete. I only got these three from the dealer. They are hard to find.
Some of the best animal figures ever made in my opinion.
The Britain barn is a hard to find here ,specially. Great condition so far .I have same diver ,mine says HK below .The fantasy figures have Britain deetail or copies of Britain weapons added , not their original weapons . Arco industries should be the original maker and used the Fleetwood distributor company name to sale them ,they were sold under BLC Services, Inc as well .
Thank you for explaining the Fleetwood figures as I have one on the right.
