Odds Ends June Figures UK Contribution. I start off with two contribbutions from two very good friends from the UK. Next, I share some of the odd figures I have found roaming the fleamarkets. This includes some Marx farm figures from an odd location.

The start wars are those sold in 2014/15 all over place in sets, then discontinued as usual even so few wanted more.(star wars command series)
The odd space figure was sold along others in a tube or plastic bucket of wal mart few years back with monster ,robots and space figures . they are around 40 mm.
A little off topic but Conte’ plastic Romans are available for purchase now! Info on their Facebook page.
The two farmers were were made for T.Cohn for their farm playsets. The Lido owners were friends with the son of Tobias Cohn who took over when his dad retired. The Lido brothers had Tony Jungellon of Portugal make them molds and they introduced him to the Cohns. The mold made the two farmers, two cows, a horse, feed sack & hay bale all based upon Marx items.
Thanks for the information. They came in a bag with Auburn Farm woman. It was the first time I saw these figures out at a flea market.
Paul, I think the “Edna Mode” figure is actually from the Pixar movie “The Incredibles.”
Thanks!
Thanks, Craig, for the correction.
I like the two DGN Russian conversación officer with binoculars and kneeling pointing poses ,they looks great to me .The with PPSH41 looks odd to me ,the other with DP 27/36 is unrealistic ,no way you can carry that as weight near 30 pound with front complete unbalanced .It looks like he dropped it as not able carry it .
my thoughts
Looks to me like the guy with the DP is indeed dropping it. I think he was shot as his free hand is pressed to his abdomen.
That was my impression – look at his facial expression – great job.
Really impressed with these sculpts. I know I’ve probably asked this before but are these Marx compatible?
A bit smaller than Marx “54 mm’ that are 58mm but better blend match with Airfix and weapons often exaggerated ,poses of these sets are many copies hybrid mixing few brands or in case such in Russian set are base in Italeri sets with some variation poses .The more unique sets these produced series and not too much copied are the French ,Italian and Chinese/Burma type army sets .The worst are the Germans and US + 8th WW2 army sets are direct copies of Matchbox-Airfix just with minor variation .
best
Or he had a hernia contraction pain.
That’s possible, too. Bullets do that.
LOL
Looks to me, also, that he’s been shot. He seems to be clutching the gut wound and calling out in pain as he drops his weapon. It actually looks like a very creative pose.
