Plastic Figure Showcase Lido Zorro Timmee Pioneer

Plastic Figure Showcase Lido Zorro Timmee Pioneer, I get a chance to look at some old items almost. We will start off with the Lido 54mm Zorro. Next, I will share another Timmee Pioneer. After a few other items, I have some new figures from CTS.

Plastic Figure Showcase Lido Zorro 54mm

Plastic Figure Showcase Lido Zorro 54mm
Lido made three different sizes of Zorro: 54mm, 3-4 Inches, and 4-6 Inches (source for the sizes Kent Sprecher) The 54mm Zorro only had a sword while the other two Lido Zorro figures also had a pistol.
Zorro on Horse
Lido used their generic western horse for their Zorro figure. One thing that annoyed me until getting the Dulcop foot, Zorro was trying to use the mounted figure as a foot figure. I had to always prop him up.

Timmee Pioneer

The first pioneer figures I got were the Timmee pioneers. Timmee did six foot and three mounted. I like this figure as a child as I could pretend he was firing from the hip or clubbing with his rifle.
Timmee army
When I am out looking for figures, I am mostly looking for reselling. This is because I am contented with what I have in my collection. One set of figures I look for are the Timmee medical group. It is a nice group. The hardest to find is the dog. The nurse to the left is a copy of the Marx army nurse. The difference the Timmee nurse has a lantern, while the Marx nurse has a plasma bottle.

Marx Indian Chief in Silver

Here is an interesting variation of a Marx six-inch Indian chief. First, the figure is in silver. Second, the figure has no markings under the base. When I posted on Ebay I felt it was a copy from Hong Kong. I may be wrong.

CTS Wagon Drivers

CTS is offering on their three new figures.

The first is a Colonial wagon driver.

The next one is western cavalry wagon or Civil War driver.

The final one is limber riders.

The figures are available in light blue, blue. and gray. Rahway who clued me in on this check with David Payne and found out that they are resin. Each figure is $6.95. If you buy more of a figure there is a discount for each figure.

Hmmmmm???? I had thought about buying some of the new CTS limber riders trio and just now noticed by clicking on this link, and my own bookmark, that they are “no longer available”???? Either something went wrong or some enterprising person bought them all out??

  2. What scale is the silver Indian?

you can see the pose here .

If is 54 mm range them is the figure belong to Italian maker TIBIDABO as shown same exact colors as former TIBIDADO brand that sold their rights in conection business with Barabelli all sets of cowboys, Indians and knights that are 54 mm version copies of former MARX 6″ poses .
Wrongly attributed to Rubenstein often as Rubenstein was wholesalers-distributor more than toy maker .Wile some packs shows as branded Rubenstein .Rubenstein is well know for selling others brands just under their trademark in repacks .
There is a book of Italian plastic figures making clear reference to it with photos of all 3 sets .
    best..

Looks like the mystery “limber riders” are back, but I also discovered that they can be bought on eBay from Tim Geppert AKA weebeetoys2.
I am happy to hear that Tim is still “dabbling” in the hobby and it appears that he produced these new flexible resin figures. I just received my order today. The style is similar to the Britain’s ACW limber trio, but scaled to fit perfectly on the old Marx ACW limber.
