Austin Miniatures Web Site

Our very good friend Brian has sent us the link for Austin Miniatures.

On the site, you can see the buildings and get prices for the figures buildings.  Next up from Austin Miniatures are U.S. Marines. Playset Addict  has pictures of two of the U. S. Marines figures.

Yes, the pictures on the Austin website show the buildings to be very impressive, just like I remember them in the Austin room at OTSN. I especially like the corner town building, and the livery stable. Put one each of all the buildings together, and you will have a magnificent western town, for a cost of right around $1,000.

Incidently, Paragon has prices and individual pics of their new Fort Apache up on their website. Like the Austin Miniature buildings, the Paragon Fort Apache is quite an achievement. Paragon’s price for what it calls it’s “basic fort” is $499.00. This is a higher price than the total for “one each” of the sections, because some of the parts of the fort (like the corner blockhouse) are repeated twice in order to make a complete fort.

Can you post the pictures of the Marines,I can’t find them to save my life,LOL.

Unfortunately, I don’t know how to post the pictures, but I think I can tell you how to locate them on the Playset Addict site. When you get to the site, start scrolling down the western town pictures which appear. One of them will say “Click here for more pictures of OTSN (or the Chicago show)”. Once you do that, scroll down some more, and you will soon encounter a photo of two of the U. S. Marine prototypes. They look pretty good.
