Publius Next Offering Vikings, we start off this post with the latest from Publius. Next, I will share some items from the collection including a item I picked up many years ago in the UK, Captain Harlock.

Publius Next Offering Vikings
Roman Gurochkin showed on Facebook the latest release from Publius, Vikings. There are eight different poses done for this series.

The first pose is a Viking stand with an ax and shield wearing chainmail.
advancing with sword and shield
The next pose is a Viking advancing with a sword in his right hand and a round shield in the left hand.
running with sword and knife
Publius’ third pose is a Viking running with a sword in his right hand at his side. The left-hand is coverings his face. It is holding a knife ready to lash out.
Swinging two handed ax
Getting ready to swing a two-handed ax with a round shield on his back.
Standing with two handed ax
Another two-handed ax pose is standing with an ax back with his feet apart. Like the previous pose, he has roundshield on his back.

This Viking has his sword back and his shield pointing down. Notice how detailed the figure is.
Standing with spear and shield
Still another ax pose this time he has his ax back ready to strike. A round shield is in his left hand
To ax up
Standing with a two-handed ax in front crouching down. The Publius figures as always are well detailed. the figures are being sold individually. The price that Roman quoted is $11.50 per figure. This does not include postage. These figures are another addition to their Viking figures.

Collection Time

Captain Harlock
This is a figure I got on one of my visits to the UK. I decided to go over for the Plastic Warrior show. I had found that there was a toy show at night and I went to it. I found a couple of the Captain Harlock figures. Captain Harlock is a popular Japanese anime show. I had once had an interest in Japanese anime and had a number of toys.
Timmee Medical
One of the popular figures from Timmee army line is the medical group. The nurse is a copy of the Marx nurse. the Marx nurse has a plasma bottle while the Timmee.nurse has a lantern. the group is rounded off by a stretcher party and dog.

    I notice when Publius does Vikings at least half the figures have the Swedish Vikings who settled the Moscow area, style baggie knicker pants. I would rather have the Conte style based on the Norwegians and Danes who invaded the Western Europe.
