September Figures Miscellaneous Stuff Expeditionary Force

September Figures Miscellaneous Stuff, We have a number of things to catch up on. First, Rahway has an additional piece of information from the Expeditionary Force. Next, Greg Liska is looking for some figures. Third, we have some photos from Detlef Heerbrand of items he got at a toy show in Milan, Italy. We will have photos from the show in a future post.

September Figures Miscellaneous Stuff Coming Attractions

. .September Figures Miscellaneous Stuff Expeditionary force
Rahway spotted this additional information from Expeditionary Force on this supplementary set. The supplementary sets for our 60mm WW2 (Normandy to the Rhine) range are being sculpted. These will be Late War Germans in camo-smock, with short boots.

Greg Liska’s Request

I’m looking for the figure that I suppose was meant to be CPT H. Wirz, commandant of Andersonville from the BMC or Americana playset of the same name. I will take as many as I can find. I also could use some BMC ACW horses! Somebody must have them somewhere and doesn’t need them.

Toy Show Finds

Toy show Dulcop
As I mentioned at the beginning of the post, Detlef went to a toy show in Milan, Italy. I decided to show his finds. The first one is the Dulcop WWII Germans these figures are getting harder to find as the company has stopped production years ago.. the painted weapons and faces could be factory painted.
Swoppets Hong Kong
These figures showed up here in the states as well and we have showcased some of them before. The German is missing his separate helmet.
Crescent
The Crescent figures are the two figures on the left. The far-left figure is one of the Crescent 60mm WWI British. The next two are Dinky figures from their artillery sets The final figure is from Jescan.
Cherilea ghurkas
Detlef got two Cherilea Ghurkas. The one on the left has the accessory for him to be leaning on. I am not sure on the one on the right.
APS Italy
APS Itay three soldiers. It is the first time I have seen these figures. Like the Texas western figures, I have seen APS have a plugin base
Dulcop Army Figures
Detlef got some unpainted Dulcop unpainted U.S. army figures. The soldier with the grease gun is missing the barrel which I figure Detlef will put one on.
Figures galore
This photo has three interesting figures. The one on the left is composition. The middle figure is an Atlantic modern army mortar figure. The final figure is a major surprise. He is from the Reamsa Bridge on the River Kwai. Until now figures from this set. have only shown up painted. This is an unpainted figure, Where did it appear.
Bum soldiers
Bum reissue of Spanish civil guard
Comansi tube
Final a tube of Comansi larger figures and accessories.

    Awesome finds,lucky Detlef.
The Dulcop germans is not factory painted, some one did that.I consider Dulcop set 8 popses one of best .
    German uniform very well done.
First 1/32 plastic german ww2 depicted with MG42.MP44 and best made MP 40 so wrong made by most other makers before and even after .
the mortar,mg42,mp40 and 44 are awesome .The paras helmet is a bid odd but can pass as LW land personnel that used then .The 4 other poses copies of Airfix ,two have very small carabiners unfortunately and i think were a waste poses as officer and grenadier poses are also .
    With respect please.
I see the US Dulcop US soldier has the barrel in grease gun ,photo angle does not show it clear but it can be seen show in background shadow.

The British officer belong to “bridge over river kwai” by Jecsan no reamsa playset series /set 12+1 poses.
Jecsan prisoners was sold with the 12 poses set japanese soldiers previews made to face the US marines 12 poses .
These were only ww2 set by jecasan but in nice combative poses.
Jecsan was first to make a true 1/30 scale nice ww2 Sherman tank, a US cannon ,jeep and truck plus a a nice big Bell AH-1 Cobra.
Jecsan Japanese were sold as BLUE HELMET soldiers with blue painted helmet because machete type weapons depicted were suitable x it as to represent africa/congo wars of the time .Hironicle the marines were choose as enemies .
The Dinky german artillery pose was copied along two others by CTS to put along the 88 MM cannon in plastic .i think this is a CTS copy?
COMANSI mini tubes armies of the world has the mix soldiers for these series.
The made 12 armies countries ,some are nice poses, most are quite odd ,still interesting poses .
BUM guardia civil are copies using PH molds by BUM who rented from PUCHOL industry that had most PH molds in 90s.No now.
The HK german rare swoppet pose belong to 6 poses w possibilities do more poses of same makers that did Japanese series set i show here before in window case, also maker of British commandos ,all base in Airfix ,yet with nice swoppet idea to do more poses easy.Germans are only w nice well done removable helmet that can be put in many other figures.
This time HK did a real MP 40 not as odd Original airfix pose rare LSMG has.
I have all full set repeated to create new poses …

The US rae Timpo copies .more abundant made sold around.
APS poses are base in TM-PP and IDEAL poses ,the set has 8 poses, there two other made x nice real 1/30 scale DWUCK and trucks made .
    best

  2. Detlef Heerbrand says:

Thank you very much Erwin for your information .. The Dulcop German Infantry were partly factory painted at least I saw blister boxes in Italy where both German and GIs were painted!
The British officer of Jecsan reminds me of Alec Guiness from the film of the same name, but I think this is a copy .. but not sure because I know the original only pictures ..
    greetings
    Detlef ..

Yes .I agree .I have a set of partially painted Dulcop but not as this. I also have an alpine italian set w good paint job in a window case.
Jecsan could be recast by Puchol from 80s as they had the molds after Jecsan close down sold molds to the
Puchol sold then unpainted in bags and as kit w paint and brush .
Last recast puchol were in late 99s in silver colors
      Great finds Detlef!!

I truly hope that Expeditionary Force make their new SS figures 1/30th scale!
NOT 1:28th scale like their first disaster!
If they do it right, they will have a big fan and customer in me = $$$

  4. Bobby Moore says:

Always liked the Dulcop G.I.’s and Germans, some nice poses in each set. To me, they fit in well with the Matchbox G.I.’s and Germans so I combine them to make heavy assault platoons with them. It is too bad they didn’t get around to making U.S. Marines and Japanese, or British troops.
