Here is their latest newsletter.
Dear All,
Greetings from Singapore!
Very pleased to inform you of the release of one new set in the “54mm Napoleonic Wars” range.
54 BRT 09  Line Command (Drums, Flags, etc.)
All models are supplied unpainted. The set should be available for shipment by end of this week or early next week.
The set contains 8 model soldiers plus two horse models comprising of 2 mounted staff officers, 2 ensigns/officers, 2 drummers, and 2 buglers. With the release of this set, all the major components of an infantry battalion can now be assembled with the range.
Mounted officer
The mounted staff officer has lanyards decorations on his right shoulder and is wearing a long-tailed coat with the chevron laces of staff-grade officers. The model has the option of holding a field glass or a curved sword and a cape is also provided. These models can also be used as ADCs instead of as Commanders. Of course, they can also be used to serve as cavalry commanders.

Napoleonic officers

The ensigns are wearing a King’s German Legion officer uniform. During the period, officers in the field often take the liberty to wear non-regulation decorations on their uniforms. Thus, variations are to be expected. The ensign paraphernalia of arms (posture), shoulder belt and staff head can be assembled with other infantry officer models in our range for greater variety. These models are also provided with spare arms to be converted into center or flank company officers.
Drums and Bugles
These musicians are modeled in two styles. The two on the left has a backpack strapped on while the two on the left has his taken off. Musicians also serve as medical orderlies and work within a short distance from camp and baggage and thus could have their backpacks placed with the baggage-train.

  1. The Lido black and white mounted knights may be a warehouse find from when Toy Street made a card stock castle with the Marx reissue knight carry-all plastic gate and tower pieces in the 1990s. The set included reissue Marx first version 54mm knights, reissue MPC horses with paper knight blankets and one white & one black reissue Lido knights (no weapons). Little green Armymen may have stumbled upon the remnants of these Lido figures

    • ERWIN F SELL says:

Yes I agree i have those recast from exact same playset .What is odd he does not offer weapons neither horse ,so i do not think will be a good sale ,any how 2.00 for then is not much .
The weapons were the Marx spears lances from MARX recast as were included extras x the two LIDO knights and all marx poses as well .I have rescat one black one white and they were both together pack inside small plastic poly bags without weapons .
The box playset does not show then outside photo as only show marx recast in silver and gold .The figures may had been add as last bonus in assembling the playset production by TOY STREET .
