Junk Box Figures Treasures Stuart Horses

Junk Box Figures Treasures, as you know I enjoy getting junk boxes. I know I will not find any Marx Johnny Ringo figures, I do find some nice addition to the collection and items to resale. So let us take a look at my latest finds.

Junk Box Figures Treasures GI
The first item I found in the junk boxes was the upscale blow mold of the Lido U.S. Army grenade thrower. The figure was made in China. It is at least four inches tall.

Sometimes items from a junk box will enhance another item. In the one junk box, I found two Hong Kong copies of the Stuart horses. I put the two with two regular Stuart horses and sold the lot quickly.
Three figures from the junk box.
Three interesting figures from the junk box. the sad part is I have no idea who made them or where they were part of. Here we have a 45mm soldier charging. The civilian what was he holding in his right hand. Was He sports figure. The guitar player may have been part of souvenir set.
blue box GI
I have started to collect the Blue Box figures. This came out of $.50 box.
Soldiers
The CTS German Officer was in a $.50 box. The other two figures are from a junk box. Someone made the standing figure into a sitting figure. This is a smaller version of a figure that I have shown before
Western figures
First, we have an Indian made by Supreme. The horse is unknown. The Indian is a semi-flat. Kent Sprecher and I have has questions where this figure was sold. It may have been first done in Australia.

More Figure

cavalry and octopus
Question time who made these two figures? The cavalry figure I believe was made recently. The octopus I have no idea who made it.
Marx Robin Hood
the junk boxes also will contain damaged figures. Most times I packaged them and sell them in plastic grocery bags. Occasionally I will get some the damage figures which I will offer on EBay. This lot just went to Ebay. I figured that someone might want these for conversions. We will see.

I also like how many people confuse the Marx running marine w carrying a radio or a MG Cal30 in his shoulder.

It was part of junk box so I don’t know what other poses there are?

    • Daniel Murphy says:

The 45 mm running man popped up in inexpensive bags of armymen. I think he may be a variation descended from the Airfix running German. There is a similar figure in the sets of 4 inch soldiers at Dollar Tree. I can’t find the precise set that the figure above came from – but somewhat smaller and thinner versions of him appeared in 48 figure “USA GI” sets that used to be in Dollar Tree. Also in the sets were clones of Matchbox GIs – the standing shooting man and the tommygunner – as well as clones of the JaRu Gulf War GIs.
