Peter’s Junk Boxes Herne March 2019, Our very good friend Peter has sent some photos of the better junk boxes. These boxes will be at the show this March 24.

The first photo shows the western figures Peter will have at the show. Looking at the boxes, I see Timmee, Starlux, and Crescent.
More western figures, the Timmee western figures are from Heimo. They are in colors we did not see here. Other figures I am seeing are Britains and Leyla.
The next three boxes we are looking at are military figures. Besides the usual Airfix and Atlantic figures, there are several Marx reissue figures. In the boxes are reissues of the Marx WWI in a color we did not see before until Peter sent us a photo in January. Marx reissue French I gave some them to Peter last May at PW Show
In these boxes are various DDR western figures from East Germany.
It’s knight time, the three boxes have Dom, Crescent and other knight figures. Some of these figures will be used by collectors for conversions. The knight in yellow at the top is Cane downsize copy of the Marx six inch figure.
Finally, Linde and Heimo figures for you to enjoy. When I ever see Linde figures I think back to a Plastic Warrior Show when they surfaced. Michael Smith had just gotten a box from Europe loaded with the Linde figures. He brought it to the show and I bought most of them to sell.
The western figures are base on the Karl May stories popular in Germany and Austria. To the left the western figures are circus figures. One of the nicest is the Chinese juggler. Behind the circus figures are Disney and animals. The Heimo figures on the right of the Linde boxes or trays is mostly western. There some interesting poses that will enhance your collection.

As I have mention many times before if you can get to a toy soldier show in Europe do so. It is a wonderful experience not only finding items but meeting fellow collectors. we have photos coming in on the show next we so stay tuned.
Gotta love the “junk” boxes – often a treasure hidden therein.
Intersting how Heinerle,PLASTIK,Manurba,DOM PLASTIK,Linde,HJ,DDR many brands and others are so cheap in large amount in those cases.Those figures are are so rare see in 5 shows around and if seen often sold very high.
