Plastic Warrior Show 2017 Report Part Three this section has more pictures from Peter Bergner. I don’t know how Peter had the time to take all these pictures while at the same time buying and selling. As I have said before you should try to get a show in Europe once. Plastic Warrior you can work a family trip around. You just have to tell your family that you are going to the show while they go sight seeing.

Hi Paul, the guys pictured in the entrance to the show with Paul Morehead are: (left to right) seated – Barrie Blood with Eric Kemp of Helmet Soldiers http://www.helmetsoldiers.co.uk/ standing by doorway is Paul Morehead and rather blurred in the foreground is Peter Evans.
One of my regrets of the show is not buying that wooden western town, I had to wrestle with myself on this because I have no need for it and, more importantly, I have no room in my house for it but I REALLY liked it!
If it makes you feel any better Brian the Western Town went to a good home. There was a guy buying bags of stuff from me and he had two young lads with him. Each time he came back to my stall one of the lads kept pointing at the town and Dad kept shaking his head. Eventually the boy won and Dad made me an offer. I looked into the boys eyes and could see myself, all those years ago, pestering my poor mum every time we passed a shop selling toy soldiers. Of course I let them have it for his offer price and lets hope the lad stays with the hobby for years to come. The buildings were made in the old East Germany and I acquired them from German Ebay, (type in Westernhaus). Individual buildings can be quite pricey, but now and again someone is selling several buildings in one lot and you can bag quite a bargain. I bought a few lots this way and have a nice layout in my loft. The buildings I sold are the left over duplicates from this venture.
Thanks for the update. I know the feeling there are things I want but I have no room. That is why I have stayed away from certain items.
That’s a great story John, and yes it makes me feel a lot better!
Very little American made stuff in those bins, I saw a few re-cast Marx and some Auburn. I did see a lot of cheap junk type plastic though, although not stuff I usually see at shows here. Would be interesting to look through anyway, just to see unfamiliar junk.
You have to look careful as you never know what will turn up. One year I found Space Patrol figures in steel blue. It is hit or miss. One year a dealer was nothing butt Marx never saw him again.
I’m afraid I didn’t attend the show as I Stupidly got the date of the show mixed up with another appointment and I thought the PL show was next weekend. I feel such an idiot and from the pictures and quotes it looks like it was a Brilliant show and I am even more determined to attend the show next year. If it is anything like this show im sure I will really enjoy it, And it is the show that I would like to attend at least once. Sorry guys.
Darren I will make sure you have the irght date and will remind you.
Thanks Paul I dont normally make mistakes like this but ive had so much going on lately that I just got stuff mixed up. Nevermind I will read what the guys have to say about the PW show and look at the pictures and weep a little bit Lol. I will try harder next year.
Darren I will set you a n automatic remainder from my email to you x next one once date is informed .
Best
Thank you Erwin.
