Erwin saw one of the Russian dealers listing Bayeux Tapestry Flat Plastic Toy Soldiers as Harold’s army.   He contacted him and got the following response.

The manufacturer called this set: “Harold Godwinson’s army.”
At the front of the box there is an inscription in Russian (left side): “Armies and battles: Harold II Godwinson’s army”
АРМИИ И БИТВЫ: ВОЙСКО ГАРОЛЬДА II ГОДВИНСОНА
Accordingly, these soldiers are Saxons and you are correct in arrows parts ,only Normans used then against Harold army according to chronicles and tapestry
The set with the army of William the Conqueror is just getting ready for release and I will have then soon.
Best regards Mike

Whichever side it is these are an interesting set of figures. while I would prefer them full figures. I am sure there will be buyers for them.
