Wait.I’m not insane and I know I know not much in Marx at all; but these guys are been around for long, I believe are recast from some were. I have few painted over by my self and got then from a seal bag at a show years ago. I do not recall bag with card but was seal and they look mint ,then I kept some and over painted to match few theirs painted I got before, rest I sent x sale off long ago. I had seen them since listed in eBay around. I will look in to my painted to show bottom base w pictures later.

A test shot or perhaps a dye mixup when they began running them in red?

It would only be interesting to me as a curiosity; more interesting if they had all the poses.

They are fugly. Looks like the re-casts they did of Roy Rogers, Dale and Trigger, they made them in fugly colors too.

Different. Ugly, but different. I’d like to know where they came from, but I sure wouldn’t want them.

    I just got confirmation.
The Indians are belong to late 80′ and early 90′ produced in Mexico Marx recast Indians with accessories mix with MPC recast 45 mm US cavalry sold under a playset call(Wild West Fort Apache Playset ) with 50’s pieces and distributed sold at Kmart and other retailers .If you google the above name will find plenty pictures and some Mexico sale blogs with them as well.
The Indians were run in bright-gloss red, bright yellow, bright orange and light magenta-non gloss or rose strong pink colors with part forts and Indian teepee and totem in yellow or matching Indian colors as from same Marx recast mold maker. Fort was in two version in brown or reddish brown. Indian pony were black, white or brown gloss colors.
