Greg Liska’s Trojan Horse Playset

CCCCDHere is Greg Liska’s Trojan Horse Playset Ida. Here is what he had to say about it.

KKKKK The Greek Hoplites tear into the Nubians

Here’s a few pics of how I used mine one time. This was before I did any work on them. This scenario was just one little battle in Alexander the Great’s sweep through Egypt. I used MPC Zulus as Nubian auxiliaries, there’s a few Atlantic Egyptians, some Toy Way Greeks, a fair bit of Herald Greeks and some Jecsan recast Egyptians, but most figures are Steven’s Hobbies / BMC/ Supreme figures.

UUUUU Well supplied, they can last for many months.

Awesome Greg!!!! Pretty much we have same fun as you said. I did my Egyptian that Admin will post soon using pretty much Atlantic and other painted by me with other things too. There is second version of Egyptian playset with other statues, I’m trying to hunt it too. Also imaginex one front part of hidden temple has a great front façade for Egypt scenes too ,you could get those easy at garage sale I guess..
Curiosity what is in front of steps of inner palace with small statues?. I can barely distinguish it in pics.

I’m not sure I know where you’re looking, Erwin. I couldn’t tell you the manufacturer, although the dark colored items seen in the center background of the third pic are some recast Ben Hur accessories.

Marx actually did a Trojan Horse themed play set in miniatures, I remember Playset Magazine did a spread on it early in their tenure. It was supposed to be the rarest of the rare miniature sets, Looked pretty cool from what I can remember.

I interesting I never knew of that .
I know Atlantic did the best in small scale, same in other ancient Greek ship and even roman arena playset done by then. I bet impossible for large scale at would be too costly by even the time of toy soldiers toys .
