First Photos from Eurofigurines Show, my English friends. Michael Smith and Charlie Barnett. Michael called and said he had a good time buying and selling. He also sent me some pictures. I should have some more photos from Markus Lecksheid later this week.
First Photos from Eurofigurines Show Report

The Eurofigurines Show is held twice a year. The show is held in Nantes, a suburb of Paris. This is a great show with a wide range of figures. Here is a nice selection of Starlux dinosaurs.

A collector is going through a box of figures. The show is heavy with Starlux, Britains, and Timpo.

Pierre Neven ran this table. Pierre has the website Chevaliers Made in France. This is a great site for information on knight figures. As you can see, he had a nice selection of figures.

On this table, there were Starlux knights, Cofalu knights, and Timpo foot Roman soldiers.
What most people do not know is that Solido also made plastic figures. Also hiding the box are reissued Timpo solid Arabs.
Michael photographed this unusual vacuum-formed castle front. The figures are either Segom or Jim. I am waiting to hear from my friend Markus Leckshied.
A Surprise at the Show
I was going through photos of the show when I spotted this, a Marx tin litho Dodge City Western town front. You may wonder how it was in France. There is a very good chance it was bought on a military base for a child whose father was serving in France. I have been told Sears has stores on military bases for families to buy from. Many of the items were left when the serviceman and his family left Europe. I would like to thank Patrice for the use of his photo.
I hope to get to this fine show in October. I will be having photos coming from the Germany Plastic Show next week.

A lot goodies.
Intersting the Starlux dinosaur and prehistoric animals..
Glad they enjoyed.
