December 2025 Plastic Figure Showcase, I thought I would share with you some of the figures I acquired this month. First, I have some 3D resin figures I purchased from Holub Valeri. Next, I have some figures from my friend Markus Lecksheid. Finally, a surprise or two from the collection I purchased.
December 2025 Plastic Figure Showcase Resin

I decided to get one set of 3D figures for myself that was being offered from Ukraine. Looking over the offerings, I decided on the Robin Hood set being offered by Holub Valeri. Being a big fan of Robin Hood, it would be a nice addition to my collection. I like the detail on the figures. Holub also sells them painted.
Holub also included this mountain man as a surprise.
Marx Mystery

My friend Markus Leckshied sent me a package of figures for Christmas. One of the items in it was these four Marx 60mm army men. From the color, I knew they were not originals.
I compared it to a Marx 60mm army figure from the UK. I noticed right away the subtle size difference. Posting the photos on Facebook, I got responses from Erwin Sell and Kent Sprecher. They both said the orange figures were made in Mexico. Erwin stated they are from Plastimarx.
Other Figures from Markus

Two other figures from Markus are these two Zorro figures. They are not actually Zorro, as Jim had the license for the Disney Zorro in France. What they did his put figures looking like Zorro and place a Z on him. I have had the foot figure before, but not the mounted figure.
Other Figures

I have been working through various collections I bought this year. I’m getting more and more to like DSG figures. In the collection were three DSG Crusaders. There may be more for me to find.
I am finding some conversions. The person took one of the creatures from the Dimensions for Children and converted it into a cyclops.
Another conversion I found so far is this Jean cowboy converted into a pirate. What do you thing?

Finally, I am including a photo of a set of Cane pirates downsized with a Disney princess that fits in with them. These figures are from Brazil, and we will give the lowdown on them in my first post in 2026.

Thank you, Stad.
I always enjoy your newsletter and the unusual figures you discover.
Best wishes for a healthy, happy New Year!
Do you have contact information from Holub? That is a great figure.
Holub Valerri is on FB ,just search his name and it will show up .
Best regards.
Erwin
The 3D RH figures and mountinmen are super detailed. 3D tech gave far more deep, crispy detail in the last production and became more affordable. Definitely, it’s the future of this hobby, as mass production mold sets aren’t profitable anymore. Awesome!
Happy New year to all!!
Just as Hal posted, this is always a great place to see fun and unusual figures.
I guess ya could say, “Dat’s Stad’s”…
