December 2025 Odds Ends Scavenger Miniatures. we take a look at another 3D company Scavenger Miniatures. Next, I do some updates on some recent items.
December 2025 Odds Ends Scavenger Miniatures

Scavenger Miniatures is a 3D company that is doing mostly WWII figures ( they are also doing NVA.) Scavenger is doing a wide variety poses that will enhance your Marx 54mm army. I like the medic kneeling, and the minister. The company added some free figures with my first order.
I like the figures that I have done a second order. In that order, I have a soldier with a camera, medic sitting, and a woman nurse. I can’t wait to see what else them come up with.
Updates
In my last post, I forgot to mention who made the space capsule that I got at the York Toy show. The company is Marx. Here ia one way it was sold. The card also has a bell suit. We thank Kent Sprecher for use of the photo.

In the comments, Kosz mention six pieces. What he was talking about are these six Western buildings. He asked me in a private email, who made them and how much they were worth and who made them. I have no idea who made them. they should be worth $20.00 to $25.00 each. If you are interested in contact me for his email. Kosz is located in Hungry.
Some Other Items

In a box of junk, I found these poor copies of Matchbox figures. The only reason I kept a few is because of the color.

Jescan did mounted Musketeers. These figures could also be used as Cavaliars in English Civil War. The figures have been collector painted.
Finally, I have been doing fine. My health has been good and I have been able to get to shows this year. Ella has made herself part of the family, but she will have to go for training in the new year. It has been a different experience dealing with a younger dog.

The western houses are by Simba .Made in Germany ,i have them and post here few years ago a set with figures comparing it as part of western series post i made .
They are value more in my opinion and hard to get in the US .They are 1/30 range and a bit bigger than Timpo ,Plasty and Britain ,more compatible with larger scale like playbig ,Comansi ,Jecsan ,Dulcop

Good stuff, Stad! Great, actually! Thank you!
RE:Scavenger how fragile are they?
They are the hard resin and will break as dropped. I had one of the figures I just got from them break despite being wrapped in bubble.
Does “Super glue” work on putting it back together?
Generally super glue non drip works in all 3d resin figures i had.The best materials used till now is by Mike .His figures plastic resin type are extremely good quality and very hard to brake.
Some of the 3D resins are brittle and typically the least expensive. The more resilient resins are more expensive.
The brittle resin is good for practice & working out bugs in the printing process.
For production figures you would want to switch to the tougher or more flexible resins – even though they may cost more. Check on-line sources to learn more…
I know some of these 3D figure makers claim to make them in a more flexible resin. Admittedly, I can’t recall which and never owned any. But if a more resilient flexible resin mix can be achieved, it will revolutionize the industry.
