Part Three 2025 Plastic Castle

As I say about the Plastic Warrior show, you can go around the tables 30 times and still find something on the thiry first trip around. This is what happen to me at the show, late in the day I came upon a dealer with a partial Marx Miniature Castle Playset. The partial had walls, figures, and towers. I got talking to the dealer and said he would taking it home. I asked him the price and he respond five pounds ($7.00).

Being a parts seller, I figured that I would be able to get my money from the purchase, if there were any figures in the lot. As you can see the lot had eight foot figures and three mounted figures, which more than pay for the purchase.

Walls

I was surprised on the condition of the castle parts. They did not have any damage and cracks. The drawbridge which I showed earlier still has its original metal chains and is perfect.

Part Three 2025 Plastic towers

The towers here are complete. I will be curious on how long it takes to sell anything from this lot. I look this purchase not as a score, but helping a dealer. You could see from his face, it was something he did not deal with. very likely it was in a lot of other items he wanted. There was a chance he would have thrown it away. I at least can get it to a market where it might find a home.

As to the oddest thing for sale at the show. It was one of my old list for a pound($1.40) from Adrian Little. I did not buy it.

    Dear Paul,

I will be visiting Berlin in mid-September & hope you or your many German contacts may have recommended shops or museums in the city that a “Plastic Warrior” might enjoy visiting.
Thank you for any advice you may offer and also for your many contributions to our hobby.

    Best Regards, Peter Wall
