Day 5 German Plastic Show Spring 2024, the German Plastic Show was one of my reasons for going to Germany. Besides finding items for resale and the collection I was able to reconnect with old friends and make contact with some new ones. It was a great time.
Day 5 German Plastic Show Begins
Markus picked me up and took me to the show. I was placed next to my friend Michael Smith who was in from the UK. I quickly set up and started to roam around.
One of the things was going through Peter Bergner’s junk boxes. I had seen the photos of these junk boxes and wondered if they were a good source of material. the answer is yes, the boxes are a treasure trove. I found many great items. You will see many of the items on Ebay in the future.
One of the other reasons was to reconnect with old friends. One of them is Andreas Dittmann(on the left). I have known Andreas for over 30 plus years. I do not know the name of his friend.
Besides seeing old friends I made some new friends. One of those was Martin. He is a friend of an old friend Axel Sohinus who I will be selling some of his conversions.
Another person I wanted to see up close was Dabro Parts. He is doing a wide range of pieces mostly for Timpo, they can be used with other figures. Here is the various wagons he makes.
These are some of the parts that Dabro makes. I will have some news about this company soon.
While the majority of the show is Timpo. There are other figures for purchases. I was picking up Marx, Britains, Kinder Egg, and others. Prices were by in large reasonable though there was a dealer with Atlantic who was expensive. Other dealers would make deals and even throw items free into the mix. It was a wonderful time. I will have more in part two.

this must have been a great show especially the timpo stuff and other european plastic. Glad you went and had a terrific time.
